The entirety of this estate took a little over a week. I removed all personal items in the home, and prepared leftover items for an estate sale. This included proper disposal of prescriptions, donations- food, clothing, trophies, etc., trash- recycle, regular and hazardous, and important documents to be shredded- Honorable discharge notice, High School Diplomas, social security cards
I rented a car, plus a truck overnight to deliver special heirloom furniture. I stayed overnight in the home while I worked (saving hotel fees), and ordered in for meals.
It was a fun project a treasure chest full of delights left and right, worked all nite, till it was done up right!

Yes please!
Everything here is visually & practically accessible, great job!

Honestly I had worked on this shed prior to this before photo, but this is a typical service day for O.O.๐
Sorting, consolidation, then tetris of boxes, arranging according to weight, fragility & mostly How Often they will be used
This particular reboot was shortly after Christmas so boxes๐ etc., will not be used for approx. 11months, so their place is out of the way, in 'not as accessible' storage

Create your own safe haven
Imagine how you want it all to be
My philosophy on stuff;
We have the things we have because we either need it, needed them, or simply found them interesting during a particular time in our lives. Be grateful to the 'thing' (recognize it is a thing, not a living soul), for being there for you when you needed it. Definitely keep it if it's still serving its purpose, but if 'it's' time has passed or it is no longer necessary to have the physical item to feel or fulfill the need or original purpose, then pass it on!
Thank you, next!
It's all about the attitude of gratitude!

About me,
kim leslie & Organic Organizing
Organic Organizing is a locally-owned business based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, dedicated to helping individuals, families and businesses reclaim Their spaces and restore a natural functional balance therein. Encouraging, stress relieving, uplifting layouts, that support clients' dreams coming true!
I am passionate about creating simple, functional environments that promote peace and productivity.
I began this passion back in 1977 clearing out my uncle's basement in my hometown of Fairbanks Alaska. But with just a few years away, I have thoroughly enjoyed being a New Mexico resident since 1983', when I moved here for college.
Year in, year out I keep coming back to the yummy fun exploration of hidden gems. Time always flies as I unveil treasure after treasure, from old tools, radios, maps, photographs, gold pans, pulleys, all kinds of yummy, cool, fun stuff.
I enjoy keeping 'it' (everything) simple, as it makes room for the abundance of life. Otherwise like our spaces we get too bogged down with the unnecessary to function naturally
